One of my favorite Christmas Eve traditions is something simple — hopping in the car, turning on some holiday music, and driving around to see Christmas lights. It’s an easy way to slow down, spend time together, and soak in the season without reservations, crowds, or planning.

If you’re in West Broward, you’re in luck. Several neighborhoods and local destinations go all-out with holiday lights, and many are perfect for a relaxed drive-through experience on Christmas Eve.

Here are some of the best areas to explore tonight.

Parkland & Coral Springs Neighborhoods

Heron Bay (Parkland)

Heron Bay is always a favorite this time of year. Many homes decorate tastefully but generously, and the wide streets make it easy to cruise slowly and enjoy the displays. It’s especially nice just after sunset when the community really lights up.

If you want something guaranteed and immersive, Holiday Fantasy of Lights is a drive-through light show featuring themed displays and synchronized music. It’s perfect for Christmas Eve if you want something festive without getting out of the car.
